No, I don’t think so. You see, when you take the subway or bus in our country, you hardly see passengers read books, they just play with their phones or tablets. Also, people in this country who are either working or study don’t read many books. This article is from Laokaoya website. I think the reason why this is a phenomenon is that people are living in a society where there’re lots of distractions like TV shows or APPs that seemingly appeal way more interesting than reading books.
不，我不这么认为。你看，当你在我们国家乘坐地铁或者巴士的时候，你很少会看到乘客们阅读书籍，他们只是玩着手机或者平板。另外，在这个国家不管是工作还是学习的人们都不会读很多的书籍。我认为这个产生这个现象的原因是因为人们生活在一个充满了干扰的社会，比如电视节目还有手机应用，他们看起来比读书要有意思多了。
