Well, I would like to talk about a newly issued law in my hometown. It’s the right of way. It hasn’t been enacted until last winter in my hometown and has worked pretty well so far.
我想说的是最近在我家乡颁布的一条交通法规，叫让行制度。这条法规是去年才在我们家乡实施的，到目前很有效果。

其实是去年春节的时候我才意识到有这么一条交通法规，因为春节那会儿是我一年里唯一一次能有时间在家乡休息的机会。

我依稀记得是在一个寒冷的雪天。我从星巴克出来，本能的在一个没有红绿灯的路口等马上开过来的车先过，然而，开过来的车突然停了下来在等我先过。那个瞬间太出人意料了，我感觉我瞬间被拽回了像新西兰、加拿大这样有让行制度的国家。我心中的温暖瞬间涌上来。这交通法真是太棒了！虽然违法者会受到三百人民币罚款，对司机来说有金钱上的损失，但是呢，这是个好的兆头，因为我们政府逐渐意识到了考虑行人安全的重要性。
