这道题目有两个主要的信息点：good和parent。回答的时候要紧扣它们进行。parent决定你描述的对象不能是小孩或者年轻人，而应该是年纪在30岁或者再大一些的中年人，而且要特别强调他有孩子，要不然就算不上父母。他可以是你自己的爸妈，也可以是你的亲戚朋友，甚至也可以是路上偶尔遇到的陌生人。第二个信息点good则是要着力说明的点。怎么样的父母才能算是优秀的父母呢？我们在回答的时候必然要联系到他们与孩子之间的互动，而不能单说父母自身。比如孩子打扰到别人之后及时道歉，让孩子意识到自己的错误；再比如在孩子做事情的时候给予正确的指导；又或者在孩子没犯错却遭受不公平待遇时挺身而出等等。这里最需要注意的是，撰写答案的时候一定要具体详细，最好给出具体的事例，不能泛泛而谈。

我要告诉你的这个优秀的父母是个父亲。他不是我的亲戚或者朋友，只是我在街遇到的一个陌生人。中等身材，大概35岁左右，带着一个不到10岁的小孩。

The good parent I am going to tell you is a father. He is not my relative or friend, but a stranger I met on the street. He was a medium-built man around 35 with a gentle smile on his face.

当时我正在住所附近的公园里遛狗，一只漂亮温顺的金毛。这个父亲和他的儿子则在踢足球。孩子看到金毛之后非常激动，冲过来想要摸摸它。但在碰到金毛之前，他的父亲制止了他，问他有没有征得我的同意。于是这孩子很有礼貌的问我，“叔叔，我可以摸下你的狗吗？”得到允许之后，他爸爸又指示，摸的时候要轻一些，不要碰到狗的眼睛，不要拽狗的耳朵等等。

When I met him, I was walking my dog, a beautiful tame golden retriever, in a park near my home, and the father and his son, a little boy under 10, were playing football. At seeing my dog, the son was very excited. He literally rushed to it and tried to pet it. But the father stopped him, asking whether he had had my permission. This article is from Laokaoya website. Even during their interaction, the father did not leave them alone, but gave instructions now and then, like ‘be gentle’, ‘don’t touch the dog’s eyes’, ‘don’t twist the dog’s ears’ ect.

虽然孩子很小，但这位父亲并没有纵容他，而是教他如何尊重别人，如何爱护动物。我相信这个孩子长大以后一定会成为很善良的人。这也是我为什么觉得这位父亲是个优秀父母（好家长）。 （我们谈到了父母教会我们一些礼节性的东西，那么绝对不要忘记准备与Politeness礼貌有关的问题。

That is why I think he is a good parent. Even though the kid was very little, he did not spoil him and let him do whatever he want. Instead, he chose to teach him how to respect others and how to behave properly with the animal. I believe this son will grow into a nice gentleman in the future and his father should take credit for it.
