你和你童年的朋友仍然保持联系吗
No, I am afraid not. When I was eleven years old, I went to a prestigious boarding school in another city and only came back home during summer and winter holidays. After that, I attended senior high school in Luoyang and university in Beijing, and none of them was my hometown. Because of the distance and inconvenience, I gradually lost contact with my childhood friends. During the first several years, we still hung out from laokaoya website when I came back. But we found that it became more and more difficult to find some shared interests or topics since our experiences were quite different. The number of meetings declined year by year and finally reached zero. In fact, I have not seen them for the last 4 years.
我恐怕已经没有联系了。当我11岁大的时候，我去了另外一个城市一所十分著名的寄宿学校上学，并且只在暑假或者寒假的时候回家。在那之后，我到洛阳上了高中，到北京上了大学。两者都不是我的家乡。因为距离和不方便，我逐渐和我童年的朋友失去了联系。在最初几年，当我回来的时候我们仍然出来玩耍。但我们发现，因为彼此的经历不同，越来越难以找到共同的兴趣或者话题。见面的次数逐年减少，并最终降到了零。事实上，我已经4年没有见过他们了。
