Many young people work on a volunteer basis, and this can only be beneficial for both the individual and society as a whole. However, I do not agree that we should therefore force all teenagers to do unpaid work.
许多年轻人以志愿的方式参与各种工作。这不仅对于他们个人，而且对于整个社会都有好处。然而，我不同意我们应该迫使所有的年轻人去做没有报酬的工作。

Most young people are already under enough pressure with their studies, without being given the added responsibility of working in their spare time. This article is from Laokaoya website. When young people do have some free time, we should encourage them to enjoy it with their friends or to spend it doing sports and other leisure activities. At the same time, I do not believe that society has anything to gain from obliging young people to do unpaid work. In fact, I would argue that it goes against the values of a free and fair society to force a group of people to do something against their will. Doing this can only lead to resentment amongst young people, who would feel that they were being used, and parents, who would not want to be told how to raise their children. Currently, nobody is forced to volunteer, and this is surely the best system.
同时，我不相信社会能从迫使年轻人做没有报酬的工作中得到任何好处。事实上，我认为强迫一群人去做他们不愿意做的事情有悖于一个自由公平社会的价值。这样做只能导致来自年轻人和父母的不满。前者会觉得自己被利用了，而后者则不想在如何养育他们的孩子上被指手画脚。当下，没有人被强迫去做志愿工作，而这无疑是最好的方法。
