The piece of equipment I am going to tell you about in my home is the modem, a device connecting the cellphones, computers, and all the smart furniture to the internet. It is usually shaped like a flattened box, with antennas on the top pointing in various directions to send signals and several ports at the back to be linked with the cable from the communication companies.
