The person I am going to tell you about is Lady Gaga. She is an American singer, songwriter and actress who is one of the best-selling musicians of all time. Her achievements include twelve Guinness World Records, Three Brit Awards, and six Grammy Awards. Gaga began performing as a teenager, singing at open mic nights, and acting in school plays. She then dropped out of college to pursue a career in music.

我要告诉你的人是Lady Gaga。她是一名美国歌手，歌曲作家和演员，有史以来最卖座的音乐人之一。她的成就包括12项吉尼斯世界纪录，三次全英音乐奖和六次格莱美奖。Gaga青少年时就开始表演，在酒吧唱歌，在校园戏剧中表演。她随后辍学追求自己的音乐事业。

I knew her from the extremely popular song, Poker Face. There was a time when it was played everywhere, including but not confined to supermarkets, barber shops, and grocery stores. This article is from Laokaoya website. The minute I heard it, I was attracted by its lyrics and rhythms. After I returned to the dormitory, I searched for her information and other songs on the internet.

Her video clips also raise eyebrows. They inspire and they blow you away. Unlike many musicians, she always makes sure to release a fun and thrilling visual.

I want to learn more about her because she subverts my conception of public figures. You know, in China, celebrities always watch out for their behaviors and words and stick to the social norms. They would be perceived as crossing the line and get opposed by the audience if they did or sang something like her.
