How do you celebrate festivals in your country? 你们国家如何庆祝节日？
Well, there are many ways to celebrate. For instance, people mainly have a gathering meal with friends and family as you know, eating is part of our culture. Plus, we also have performances like gala shows to commemorate the events as some people like this united way of celebration.
有很多种庆祝方式。例如，人们主要会和家人、朋友一起聚餐，因为饮食是我们文化的一部分。除此之外，我们会有诸如晚会等表演来纪念这些事件。因为，一些人喜欢这种联合的庆祝方式。
What special food and activities do you have for these festivals? 你在这些节日期间会吃什么特别的食物，会参加什么特别的活动？
Well, there are too many. For example, we usually have dragon boating racing during the Dragon Boat Festival. You know, not everyone can do that. But, it’s pretty interesting to watch it. Also, we have moon cakes that are only available when Mid-Autumn Festival approaches.
有太多了。例如，我们经常在端午节划龙舟。不是每个人都可以划。但是，观看也是不错的。另外，我们有月饼，这个只有在中秋节快来了的时候才有。
How do you celebrate Spring Festival? 你如何庆祝春节？
I usually celebrate it with my family. I will have a great dinner during the spring festival eve and, at the same time, enjoy the Spring Festival Gala held by the CCTV. You know, the routine hasn’t changed since I was a kid, but I enjoy the quality time with them.
我经常和我的家人一起庆祝。我们会在除夕夜一起吃顿大餐。与此同时，享受着CCTV主办的春晚。这个安排从我小的时候开始就没有变动过了。但是，我特别享受和他们在一起的时光。
What is your favorite festival? 你最喜欢的节日是什么？
Well, I enjoy Mid-Autumn Festival the most. The reason why I am quite into it is that I have the opportunity to taste different moon cakes. You know, I am actually a foodie. Plus, this festival gives us at least a three-day break, which allows me to have a short trip. So, I really cherish this period of time.
我最喜欢中秋节。我喜欢的原因是我能够有机会品尝到不同的月饼。我其实是个吃货。另外，这个节日让我们放三天假，我可以有一次短途旅行。所以，我很珍惜这段时间。
