这道雅思口语P3的问题一般会在探讨某个话题的开端抛出来。但是，这道题目又和其它类别的生活化问题不太一样。它所要探讨的问题相对抽象。这就有些考验大家的思维和辩证能力了。话虽如此，大家也不必特别担心。这毕竟不是一篇大作文，只要能保证一定的逻辑性，言之有理即可。重点是在如何流畅的表述出来。因此，需要大家平日多多练习。
Do you think smart people tend to be selfish?
No, I don’t think so. In my eyes, a real wise man wouldn’t be selfish as that kind of ignorance for self-interest won’t last long. Indeed, there are many people in our society who appear to be intelligent and take quick profits just for their own sake. But, you know, most people have crystal eyes, and this article is from Laokaoya website, sooner or later, their misconduct will eventually be disdained and cause trouble. So, I wouldn’t categorize those guys who have little tricks as truly smart people. Whereas, the real ones won’t even think of it because it will destroy their reputation and conflict with long-term personal profits.
不我不这么认为。在我看来，一个真正聪明的人不会倾向于变得自私。因为，不顾他人只为自己利益的行为不会长久。的确，社会上很多看起来很有智力的人，他们会为自己获取短平快的利益。但是，你懂得，多数人的眼睛是雪亮的，迟早，他们的行为会被人受到鄙视并且还会惹上麻烦。所以，我不会把这类耍小聪明的人视为真正聪明的人。而那些真正聪明的人对自私的行为想都不用想。因为，这会损害到他们的名誉，也与个人长期的利益相悖。
