第31题答案：attitude/attitudes
对应原文：ethnography can offer them deeper insight into the possible needs of customers, either present or future, as well as providing valuable information about their attitudes
答案解析：并列关系的常见考法。即说完并列的一点之后，加入描述或者说明的语句，然后再接上连接词和答案。要注意整个句子的节奏。这道题尤其要注意and和as well as的同义替换。
第32题答案：numbers
对应原文：They saw that the cooks had to check and recheck the contents, because although the measuring cups had numbers inside them, the cooks couldn’t see these easily
答案解析：听到cooks意识到答案即将到来。原文采用语序颠倒的手法，将原本位于空前的see放在了答案之后，比较考验大家对定语从句和修饰关系的理解。
第33题答案：time/minutes
对应原文：Because these customers paid in advance for their calls, they were eager to know how much time they’d spent on the call so far
答案解析：听到customers意识到答案即将到来，want与eager同义替换，再加上time处有重读，由此锁定它为正确答案。
第34题答案：software
对应原文：So the team came up with an idea for software that would help them to do this
答案解析：这道题的难点在于定位词与答案相距太远。录音中提到administrators之后，有过了两三句话才说到答案。比较考验大家对句子的理解和名词的敏感度。

答案解析：听到nurses意识到答案即将到来，information与records同义替换，根据修饰关系确定patients为正确答案。
第36题答案：emotions/feelings

答案解析：听到respondents意识到答案即将到来，recorded与tracking同义替换，由此确定答案为emotions。一些同学可能会写成smartphones。虽然它读的较重，也符合词性的要求，但填上去句义不合适，因此排除。
第37题答案：income
对应原文：the criteria according to which the participants are chosen may be something as simple as the age bracket they fall into, or the researchers may select them according to their income
答案解析：与31题同样的考察方法，都是在并列的两个单词之间插入描述性的语句。不过难度不算很大。
第38题答案：comfortable
对应原文：… right people as participants. As well as the criteria I’ve mentioned, they have to be comfortable talking about themselves
答案解析：听到participants意识到答案即将到来。从题干feel推测，空上应该填一个形容词，而录音这一句话里语义合适的只有comfortable一个，由此锁定答案。
