你能感觉到，中国近几十年正在蓬勃发展。我的家乡宜昌也发生了很多变化。宜昌市湖北省第二大经济体。
As you know, China is embracing a booming development in recent decades. So many changes happened in my own city Yichang, which is the second largest economy in Hubei Province.
在我看来家乡最大的变化就是从我大学毕业去北京工作之后，宜昌的基建设施变得越来越好了。
Well, in my mind, the most obvious development that I saw is experiencing the infrastructures being renovated since I graduated from college and started working in Beijing.
由于日益激增的交通流量，宜昌很多道路都进行了翻修和扩建。很多房地产开发商建起了无数高楼大厦，都看起来很现代化也很先进。但是，最吸引我眼球的是那些帮助行人的基建设施。上个春节，我回来额时候，发现路边的红绿灯柱子上有了什么东西在上面，走进一看是一个按钮，你按了它，就会给行人更多的绿灯过马路的时间。这东西还是在我去新西兰旅游的时候发现他们国家有的东西，现在我们当地政府也从国外学了回来，真的是很体贴。
The roads in Yichang have been repaired and expanded due to the increasingly heavy traffic, and so many real estate developers have been developing countless high-rise apartments that look really modern and advanced. But, the most eye-catching one is the infrastructure built on the roads to help guide the pedestrians. Last Spring Festival, I went back to Yichang and found there’s something on the road light pillar, when I get closer to it, there’s actually a button on which you can press to give you extra time to pass through the zebra line, which made me feel quite amazed. 我的家乡再也不是曾经那个时候的样子了，我很自豪。在现在，我们有了更多的公共娱乐设施，城市里的建设给我们带来了更多的安全感和舒适度。
I felt so proud of my hometown that it was no longer what it was in the past old time, I mean right now, we have more excess to public entertainments, and the all the settings in the city have made us feel more secure and comfortable.
