雅思口语Part1范文答案解析：New Activities 新活动
这道P1的口语话题卡也是属于生活类的题目。烤鸭们在准备这类问题的时候可以先了解一下Activity的意思，这样有助于大家开阔思路。在英语中的定义如下：1. An activity is something that you spend time doing. 2.The activities of a group are the things that they do in order to achieve their aims. 换言之，只要是（和其他人一起）花时间做的事情都算activity。例如，大到参加奥运会、或者参加志愿者植树，小到打打羽毛球，全班一起去看电影这都算做活动。
Do you like to try new activities? Why? 你喜欢尝试新的活动吗？为什么？
No, I don’t. I’m not into new activities. I think this is because I am not a person who likes to take any adventure. You know, I don’t enjoy the feeling of getting out of my comfort zone.
不，我不是很喜欢尝试新活动。我认为这主要的原因就是我不是一个喜欢去冒险的人。我不太喜欢那种跳出舒适圈之外的感觉。
What activities would you like to try? 你喜欢尝试什么活动？
Well, if I have to, I’d like to try something that is quiet and can give me some mental comfort such as Yoga, and chess, which are all quiet to me but I’ve never done before. So, I‘d like to do those activities with my close friends as we can motivate each other.
如果我得选择的话，我会尝试一些安静的，能够给让我在精神上感到舒服的活动，例如瑜伽还有象棋。这些活动对我来说都比较安静，我也没有尝试过。所以，我想和我的密友一起做这些活动，因为我们口语互相激励对方。
What activities did you do when you were a child? 在你是小孩子的时候，喜欢做什么活动？
I remember I did loads of activities during my childhood. The most memorable one was the Beanbag Game, which was an activity popular both in and out of PE class. This article is from Laokaoya website. It was exciting and definitely energy-consuming as we had to dodge a lot. We usually played it for several hours after school to loosen up before we headed home.
我记得我童年的时候做过好多活动。最让我印象深刻的就是丢沙包，这个活动在体育课内外都很火。丢沙包很刺激也很消耗体力，因为我们必须要经常要躲闪。我们放学回家之前玩上几个小时来放松。
Do you like to try new activities alone or with friends? 你喜欢和朋友一起尝试新活动还是自己一个人做？
I prefer to try new activities with friends than alone. The biggest reason is that trying them with my friends is safer as I have the chance to be saved by my teammates. That reminds me of an incident where I once tried to get crabs in a pond and was dragged out of the water by my friends when I near-drowning. I just couldn’t imagine what would happen if nobody was there to rescue me.
我更倾向于和朋友一起尝试新的活动。最主要的原因就是和他们一起会更安全，因为我有机会被他们拯救。这让我想起了我曾经的一件意外事情，当时我尝试在池塘里面抓螃蟹，差点就溺水了，然后被我的朋友拽出了水面。如果我自己一个人，没人来救我，我无法想象会发生啥事儿。
