The experience I am going to tell you happened about three years ago. It was the first day of my university. Having graduated from high school and turned into 18 years old during that summer, I felt I was already a grown-up. So I refused my parents’ company and embarked on the journey to my university all by myself.
我要告诉你的经历发生在大约三年前。那是我大学开学的第一天。那年夏天从高中毕业，迈入18岁，我觉得我已经是个大人。所以我拒绝了父母陪同，独自踏上前往大学的旅途。
It was located in another city nearly 2000 kilometres away, I deliberately chose it not only because of its prestigious status in China, but also because I wanted to be far away from my hometown, get rid of my parent’s influence and enjoy my university life to the greatest extent.
