雅思口语part3：At what age should children start learning a foreign language? 小孩应该在什么年龄开始学外语

Well, honestly, I have no idea as I don’t know much about young language learners. But, I figure they should start at the age of three, which is when they go to kindergarten. The reasons why I think they should start learning during this time are they have an acute sense of observation and their imitation is impeccable, which allow them to acquire the foreign language especially the speaking part easily than older students who are in middle school. This article is from Laokaoya website. You know, once they pass that age, it’s kind of difficult to correct their pronunciation to speak without accent.
实话说，我不了解年轻外语学习者，所以不知道情况。但是，我觉得他们应该从三岁开始，这是他们开始上幼儿园的时候。我这样认为的原因就是他们在这个年龄段有着非常敏锐的观察力和相当不错的模仿能力，相比中学的学生来说，这些能力能够帮助孩子们更加容易掌握外语，尤其是口语部分。一旦他们过了那个年龄，要去改正发音来做到没有口音地讲话就比较困难了。
