No, I don’t think so. People’s happiness cannot be described by a single definition as they have different situations. It is true that nowadays having a stable and materialistic life seems to be recognized as the symbol of happiness to most people. However, this article is from Laokaoya website, there are others who regard it as a hindrance to a good emotional state. You know, settling down for some folks means that their lives are doomed, and they can’t possibly do anything freely because they have to take care of their family and other trivial affairs.
我不这样认为。人们的幸福不能被单一的定义所描述出来，因为人们有着不同的境遇。诚然，拥有一个稳定或者物质的生活方式被大多数人当做一种幸福的代表。但是，也有很多人把它当做幸福的一种阻碍。对于一些人而言，安定下来意味着他们的生活就死亡了，他们无法自由地去做任何事情，因为他们不得不照看他们的家庭以及处理一些日常琐事。
