雅思口语Part1范文答案解析:Dictionary 字典词典
How often do you use your dictionary?
你多久用次词典?
I use the dictionary quite a lot. I often look up the dictionary to learn some new vocabulary that I come upon in some readings. It’s really helpful for my study.
我经常会使用此单。如果在一些读物中发现了生单词,我就常常会去翻阅词典学习里头的生单词。它对我学习十分有帮助。
Do you like paper dictionary or electronic dictionary?
你喜欢纸质版的词典还是电子版的词典?
Well, even my teachers always advocated that we should use the paper dictionary during high school, but now I am still prone to the electronic dictionary when it comes to checking some new words. No doubt, it’s the fastest way of finding the definition that you want.
即便我在高中的时候老师就提倡我们使用纸质版的词典,但是每次查生单词的时候我还是更倾向于电子版的词典。无疑,这绝对是查到词义最便捷的方式了。
What kinds of dictionaries have you used before?
你都用过哪些词典?
I used many dictionaries like English-Chinese, Chinese-English, and sometimes English-English dictionary if necessary. This article is from laokaoya website. I found the most useful one is the English-English version, for example, the LDOCE, which is a very authentic tool for us to check the definitions of the words we don’t know.
我用过很多的词典,比如英中词典、中英词典,有需要的时候甚至会查一些英英词典。我发现最好用的词典就是英英词典了,比如说LDOCE这本词典,能查到你不懂的词典,解释很权威。
How will dictionaries change in the future?
未来词典会发生哪些改变?
I guess the dictionaries in the future would be totally paperless. People no longer need to take a heavy paperback dictionary to go to school. Maybe we just use a small piece of device, which is probably smaller and thinner than those iPads we use right now. So, it will be definitely portable and much convenient.
我猜测未来的词典一定是全部无纸化的。人们将不再带着一本厚厚的纸质词典去学校。可能我们会拿着比现在用的诸如iPad还要小还要还要薄的设备查单词。所以,一定会更加编写更加方便。
