Where do you usually take a walk? 你经常在哪里散步？
I usually have a walk in a public park near the place I live in. It’s a large park where there are lots of green plants which are healthy for our eyes, and some facilities for recreational activities. So, I usually take a walk in that park with my family after dinner to loosen up. This has already been one of our daily routines.
我经常会在我家附近的一个公园内散步。它是一个很大的公园，里面有非常多绿色植被，对眼睛好，还有一些用于休闲活动的设施。所以，我经常在饭餐之后和家人一起去那里散步来放松。这已经是我们的一个日常了。
Do you think people will walk more or not in the future? 你认为人们会在未来更经常走路吗？
Well, I feel that people will walk less in the future. You know, nowadays, it’s become easier and easier for families to own a vehicle or get access to public transportation like the subway or the bus. So, this article is from Laokaoya website, people would rather take these transportation tools to commute than having a time-consuming walk.
我觉得人们在未来会更少走路。如今，家庭拥有私家车越来越容易了，类似地铁、巴士等公交也越来越方便。所以，人们宁愿使用这些交通工具来出勤而不是浪费时间在走路上。
Do you walk more often than in the past? 你相比过去来说更经常走路吗？
Yes, I do. In the past, I was living far away from the city center where my school was located. So, I have to take a bus and the subway to commute every weekday. But now, our family has moved to a place that is pretty near to our school. So, I’ve got more time to walk than taking any transportations.
是的，在过去，我住的地方距离市中心的学校很远。所以，我不得不每个工作日都去乘坐巴士和地铁出勤。但是现在，我们家搬到了距离学校很近的地方。所以，我更多时间都是走路而不是乘坐公交。
Do you walk a lot? 你走路走得多吗？
No, I don’t. Even though my school is pretty near to my home, it normally takes me just 15 minutes to walk there. So, I actually don’t have much time to walk. But, I hope in the future I could walk more because it’s really a good way to keep fit.
