Describe a time when you visited a park

The government has introduced various plants, constructed a rubber dam, planted a huge number of peonies and set up a wide range of entertainment facilities there.
I went there with my girlfriend last April when the peonies were in their full blossom. The whole park had become a flower sea. Even before you passed the gate, you could smell the fragrance. It was a normal date. We took a walk along the river until reaching the boundary and then sat on the bench for a rest, watching a group of people playing badminton about 20 meters away. Surrounded by the flowers, we talked a lot about the experience before we met each other.
I really love this park, not only because of the beautiful sceneries but also because it was the first date we had in the open air. I think the flowers and fresh air had helped promote our relationship.
