一些从来没有接触过雅思或者刚刚接触雅思的同学可能会好奇雅思最高分是多少，代表着怎样的英语水平？今天老烤鸭小编就跟大家来聊聊这个问题。
跟一般人的认知可能不太一样，雅思最高分其实是9分，而不是10分。所以大家如果听到有人说他英语水平超级厉害，雅思考了10分的满分，那一定是在骗人。
雅思成绩中每0.5分为一档。也就说是只有5.5分，6.0分，6.5分这种分数，而不可能存在6.625分，6.25分等。下面是个雅思官方对每个分数段的描述。
雅思成绩9分
神一般的存在，目前大陆地区只有人总分考到了9分，四门科目全部都是9分的还没有见过。哪怕是母语人士也很难达到这个分数。
官方的描述为：Expert User. Has fully operational command of the language: appropriate, accurate and fluent with complete understanding.
卓越的使用者。能够完全自如运用英语，用词准确，口语流利，沟通无障碍。
雅思成绩8分
大神，绝大多数英语主持、少量优秀的口译人员、以及极少部分极其优秀的英语专业毕业生可以达到的分数。
官方的描述为：Very Good User. Has fully operational command of the language with only occasional unsystematic inaccuracies and inappropriacies. Misunderstandings may occur in unfamiliar situations. Handles complex detailed argumentation well.
优秀使用者。能充分自如运用英语，知识偶尔语言组织不准确或不欠当。遇到不熟悉的情况可能会理解错误。能够针对复杂课题很好地进行仔细论证。。
雅思成绩7分
绝大多数日常生活中英语很好的同学所在的水平。基本可以没有障碍的欣赏美剧，看英语电影，杂志等。
官方描述为：Good User. Has operational command of the language, though with occasional inaccuracies, inappropriacies and misunderstandings in some situations. This article is from Laokaoya website. Generally handles complex language well and understands detailed reasoning.
有能力运用英语，知识偶尔用法不准确或不恰当。有时候会理解错误。一般而言，善于理解、运用复杂语言，并能够理解详细的论证。
雅思成绩6分
大多数英联邦国家本科阶段理工科专业的录取分数线。日常生活中英语也不差，但没有达到让人惊艳的程度。高考英语通常在130分左右，大学英语四级通常在500分左右。
官方描述为：Competent User. Has generally effective command of the language despite some inaccuracies, inappropriacies, and misunderstandings. Can use and understand fairly complex language, particularly in familiar situations.
称职使用者。一般而言能够有效地运用英语，不过有时候可能用法不准确或不恰当，理解有误。能够运用于理解比较复杂的句子，对熟悉领域的课题则表现更好。
雅思成绩5分
许多英联邦大学语言班的最低录取成绩，也是一些澳大利亚高校本科阶段的录取成绩。许多高中毕业的同学都可以达到这个水平。他们高考英语通常在120分左右，大学英语四级低空通过或者差一点没过。
官方描述为：Modest User. Has partial command of the language, coping with overall meaning in most situations, though is likely to make many mistakes. This article is from Laokaoya website. Should be able to handle basic communication in own field.
普通使用者：能部分运用英语，多数时候能够明白总体意思，但可能会出现许多错误。对于自身熟悉的领域，基本沟通应该不成问题。
雅思成绩4分
一些国家投资移民的最低分数要求。基本上掌握1000左右的词汇量就可以答案。表现为了解一些英语语法结构，能够说出一些英语单词，但不成体系。
官方描述为：Limited User. Basic competence is limited to familiar situations. Has frequent problems in understanding and expression. Is not able to use complex language.
有限使用者：只限于本身熟悉领域的运用，并只掌握基本用法。在理解和表达方面经常遇到困难。无法使用复杂句子。
雅思成绩3分
能说出几个英语单词的水平，几乎相当于零基础。绝大部分的中国人通过一个月的学习都可以达到这个水平。
官方描述为：Extremely Limited User. Conveys and understands only general meaning in very familiar situations. Frequent breakdowns in communication occur.
极度有限使用者：唯有在非常熟悉的领域才能够进行很基本的沟通和交流。交谈经常停顿。
雅思成绩2分
零基础，多年没有接触过英语的人的水平。只能简单的回答yes或者no。对于口语考试中考官的问题完全无法理解。
官方描述为：Intermittent User. No real communication is possible except for the most basic information using isolated words or short formulae in familiar situations and to meet immediate needs. Has great difficulty understanding spoken and written English.
间歇使用者：无法进行真正的交谈。只有在熟悉领域和紧急需要时，以单词或短句传单最基本的信息。在理解书面形式和口语形式的英文方面遇到很大的困难。
雅思成绩1分
不知道该怎么形容，老烤鸭小编在自己这近十年的教学生涯中还完全没有遇到过。应该是只要出现在考场，哪怕什么都不写，什么都不说，就是这个分数。
官方描述为：Non User. Essentially has no ability to use the language beyond possibly a few isolated words.
