Describe a tall building in your city/hometown you like or dislike

A tall building I’d like to describe is Huang He Lou, which can be literally translated as the Yellow Crane Tower. It is located in my hometown Wuhan, which is the capital city of Hubei Province.
Well, as the fairy tale goes, the tower originally served as a restaurant which was built by a local businessman who was quite poor at the time. It was a quite ordinary building until an immortal named Wang Zi’an came here and drew a Yellow Crane on the wall which became alive. This article is from Laokaoya website. This astonishingly surreal story had attracted lots of guests and thus pulled the man through. However, the immortal eventually rode away from there on this crane. So, basically, the building was named after the amazing flying creature.
The building is a classic tower-like building but looks very new. I guess it’s probably because the Wuhan Government moved the entire building to another site to prevent it from being flooded by the Yangtse river. It is about 170 feet high which is one of the tallest historic buildings in the city.
I feel that the main reason why I am quite into this building is that I love the beautiful legend associated with the building. You know, it was the most intriguing local tale I’ve heard since I was a kid. You know, being able to touch the wall just can literally take me back to the magical old time.
