谈到别人来我家拜访，我特想说一说我上高三那年的发生的事情。那会儿应该是在农历春节前夕。
Speaking of someone who visited my home, I really want to say a time happened before the Lunar New Year when I was in the third year of my high school.
我的姑姑刚刚嫁给了我姑父，他是法国人。那会儿正好他们结束了圣诞节假期要启程回巴黎，顺便拜访了我们家。我姑姑是我妈妈的最小的妹妹。由于忙于生活，她们一家很久没有来过我们家了。
My aunt got married to my French uncle, and they dropped by when they were about to head off to Paris after their Christmas holiday. My aunt is my mother’s youngest sister. Because of the busy life, it’s been quite a while since they met with our family last time.
那次来玩家其实没有特别的的地方，和其他人拜访我们家没太大区别。但是唯一不同的的地方在于这次我姑姑来的时候带上了我法国姑父和我姑父的法国弟弟。你要知道，在我的家乡，异国面孔那会儿还没那么多。所以，我其他同时拜访我们家的亲戚朋友们和她们发生了很有意思的事情。
Actually, their visit wasn’t so impressive, just as an ordinary one like others’. But, what made their visit slightly unusual was that this time my aunt brought her newly married foreign husband her husband’s little brother to our family. You know, it’s not quite common to see some exotic faces in my hometown. So, when other relatives who visited our home at the same time, there’s something interesting happened.
我依稀记得那会儿大家坐在沙发上，脸上有一种尴尬的笑容。因为，大家都不太会说法语的。除非我姑姑在场，每次都会有短暂悄无声息的情况。好在我的亲戚朋友们都还挺外向的，他们居然用着简单的肢体语言和表情和他们交流起来了。
I clearly remember those smiles with awkwardness on everyone’s face when they were sitting on the sofa. Becuase, others don’t speak French, and every time when my aunt wasn’t on the spot, a silence would happen now and then. This article is from Laokaoya website. Do not copy or repost it. You know what happened after the Spring Festival? Both my uncles, my parents and my relatives have been trying to learn their own new language during their spare time. I guess our family got better studying atmosphere because of this interesting visit.
